PVD Hard Thin Film Coating

Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is a method for producing metal based coating by means of generation of partially ionized metal vapor, its reaction with certain gases and by forming a thin film with a specified composition on the substrate. PVD processes is carried out under high vacuum conditions.

Titanium Nitride (TiN) is the standard general purpose coating for protecting a wide variety of tools Part from wear. TiN is good choice for machining of iron based materials, dies casting & plastic mould tooling. TiN is also good coating for wear part applications demanding resistance and adhesive wear.
TiN is also an attractive GOLD colour.
